Labor Day beer and beertails

Let’s raise a glass to the long, holiday weekend ahead! The Cocktail Guru is back and is helping The Rhode Show kick off the weekend fun.

The “Polo-Rita” (served at Newport International Polo Series):

1 1/2 oz. Jalapeno Infused tequila
1/2 oz. Limoncello di Capri
1/4 oz. Monin agave nectar
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
8-10 raspberries
2 oz. Sam Adams Summer Ale

METHOD: Add all ingredients, except for beer, into a cocktail shaker with ice.  Shake well and strain over ice into a rocks glass.  Top off with the beer and stir briefly.

GARNISH: Lime wheel and edible flower.
