Highlighting the importance of lung cancer screening

Lung cancer accounts for about 27% of all cancer deaths, and is by far the leading cause of cancer death among both men and women.

Each year, more people die of lung cancer than of colon, breast, and prostate cancers combined.

Terrance Healey, MD, Director of RI Medical Imaging’s Lung Cancer Screening Program, joined The Rhode Show Tuesday to talk about the importance of lung cancer screening.
