Dunkin’ Donuts partners with Special Olympics

Dunkin’ Donuts has been a proud partner of Special Olympics for more than 25 years. Throughout this partnership, Dunkin’ Donuts has raised more than $1 million for Special Olympics.

This year Dunkin’ Donuts will hold a special donut promotion to help raise funds in support of  Special Olympics’ mission to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

This star-shaped, jelly-filled donut will be featured in all Rhode Island & Bristol County, Mass. locations.Special Olympics RI Dunkin' Donuts

From Oct. 2 through Oct. 8, 25 cents from every individual donut sold will be donated to Special Olympics Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

On Monday, we spoke with Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee John Justo, Special Olympics RI CEO Dennis DeJesus and athlete Michael Lucca to learn more about the promotion.
