The medical field is fast growing and there is always a need, especially when it comes to the EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) field.
There is currently a great need in our community for EMTs, as the baby boomers’ generation starts to age. On a more regional scale, there is a vast drug epidemic that requires a medical professional’s attention. And on a more nationwide scale, EMTs are first responders, the men and woman that come to your aid in a natural disaster, during a terrorist attack, or any other tragedy that may occur.
We spoke with the National EMS Institute to understand what’s involved in this training and how you can get started.
